A short walk from Thixendale in the Yorkshire Wolds.
Head west from the village, and turn right up the track at edge of village. Carry on up the track, and then across fields north, until you go down into a valley and up again.
When you reach a T junction, turn right and follow Wolds Way, a grassy track past a small wood on the right. At the end of wood, turn right and head along a fence you join a track. Head down the track until you see a footpath signposted for Thixendale on the right. Head down the edge of the field, and go into a scrubby wood, and follow the path down. At the bottom of the hill turn right, and follow the path over fields, past the cricket ground and into the village. Pass the pub and return to were you started.
