A walk around Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Gardens, with an extension to the pretty valley of the seven bridges
Good solid, mud free paths, on generally flat ground, bar the walk down from the visitor centre.
A lovely walk on a glorious warm late summer day. Already the foliage is starting to turn brown, and there are not a lot of the flowers that grace the grounds earlier in the season.
Although the garden's are lovely on any day at any time, if you want to see them without the inivitable crowds, try going either very early or late in the day.
