A nice walk to view Red Kites, Hare and Pheasants on the early part of the Walk. Later you might see Deer, Hares, Buzzards, and you pass a Copse with Woodpeckers on the return Leg.
Muddy in wet weather.
Hazards and warnings
The long track that following the 'valley' is known locally as Herberts Hole. It is heavily rutted and often Muddy following rainfall. There are some steep accents and decents but not especially challenging, but none of the walk is suitable for Child Buggies.
Chesham is an Market town that is easy to get to via London Underground. The walk starts 10 mins from the underground station and takes a leisurely 5hrs.
